What ViMagic is
We are a processing tool, not a library. We host no catalogue of media. A user supplies a link, we process it, and the result goes back to that user. Prepared files are deleted from our servers within hours.
Our rules for users
The terms require every user to hold the rights to whatever they submit. Downloading a work to re-upload or sell it is expressly prohibited.
Reporting infringement
If you hold rights in a work and believe ViMagic has been used to infringe them, write to support@vimagic.in with:
- Identification of the work
- The URL or account involved, in enough detail for us to locate it
- Your contact details
- A statement that you hold the rights or act for the person who does
- A statement, made in good faith, that the use is not authorised
- Your signature, electronic or physical
What we do
Valid notices are acted on promptly: we remove any prepared file still on our servers, block the source where we reasonably can, and warn the account. Repeat infringers are terminated.
Counter-notice
If your account was actioned and you believe that was wrong, reply to the same address explaining why — for example that you hold a licence, or the material is public domain. We will look again.
Bad-faith notices
Filing a knowingly false notice carries legal consequences under the law that applies to you. Please be sure before you send one.
